On April 17-19, a delegation of HIAAL visited two airports in Yiwu and Zhangzhou, after visiting airports in Ningbo, Zhoushan, Wenzhou and Taizhou, marking that the company has successfully completed the investigation of air cargo business of other airports in the province.
Through the on-the-spot investigation of the airports, the HIAAL delegation fully understands the personnel facilities and equipment investment, airline capacity and local source structure of the air cargo terminals at other airports in the province. Next, HIAAL will explore how to give full play to the advantages of airports in the province in terms of air cargo, realize resource sharing, and comprehensively improve the development of the province's air cargo business.
In Q1 2018, the province's airport completed cargo and mail throughput of 190,800 tons, an increase of 15.2%. Among them, HIA represented a year-on-year increase of 24.9% to 150,800 tons of cargo and mail, and the growth rate ranked first among the top ten airports nationalwide. Wenzhou and Ningbo Airports increased their cargo volume due to the increase of flight volume, which increased by 7.6% and 22.9% respectively.
